

How Rubus’s multilingual website drives expansion
Challenge
Rubus simplifies residential construction for real estate developers, contractors, and homebuyers on an all-in-one platform. After acquiring Bau Digital and expanding into the DACH region, their client base was growing fast. But their first website wasn’t built to keep up.
The original site became limiting. The site’s structure didn’t support the company’s evolving needs anymore, and the design and messaging didn’t clearly communicate the product’s value. At the same time, the team had just finished refining their brand identity and needed their digital presence to reflect it.
With international expansion underway and new brand guidelines in place, redesigning the website became a priority. Rubus needed a scalable, multilingual site that would support growth and drive new business.


The solution
The project started with a strategy session to understand the requirements of the new website. From there, I restructured the site to highlight the product and created a fresh design direction based on the new brand identity.
Next, I teamed up with two talented freelancers in my network for copywriting and JavaScript animation support. Together, we worked as a small, focused creative unit. This helped us iterate quickly without compromising quality.
I developed the site in Webflow and set up a CMS that gives Rubus full control to manage and publish content. We also supported localization across four languages (English, German, Swedish, and Norwegian), translating both copy and the text in graphics.

Result
Quick execution was key with this project. We launched the new website in 4 languages, in a short timeframe.
Now, the site’s design reflects the new brand, and the product’s selling points are clear to visitors. Rubus is well-positioned to not only enter new markets — but lead them.
Rubus’s new, user-friendly CMS allows the internal team to regularly publish updates about new partners and projects. Traffic and inbound leads have both increased, showing that the website is doing exactly what it's meant to.
Most importantly, the site finally feels like Rubus. It’s a clear proof point of the product’s value, and the entire team is proud of their new digital presence.
