Cloud 7 concept landing page design
In collaboration with Pepijn Peeters, I designed and developed a Webflow site for our fictional cloud storage brand Cloud 7. Our goal was to explore conversion-focused product storytelling for tech companies.

Challenge
Cloud 7 started as an open brief: what could we build if we dropped the usual design, budget, and timeline constraints? Less a client delivery, more a playground to push our craft.
The goal wasn’t to ship another SaaS template. It was to explore what a modern and technical product sites can feel like when motion, performance, and layout all play together.
That meant solving a few self-imposed challenges: keep animations delightful without video embeds or heavy third-party tools, give the hero a memorable visual identity, and build the site on a clean Webflow foundation that would still scale if the concept ever became real.

Solution
We designed Cloud 7 in Figma, a tight landing page centred on one promise: Always Hot Cloud Storage.
On the design side, we spent serious time on foundations that usually get rushed: accessible color palettes, and type testing across dozens of pairings that fit the brand we envisioned. The layout stays short and focused (hero, proof, features, social proof, and pricing) so every section earns its place.
On the build side, we used MAST, a class framework made for structured, performant Webflow sites. Product feature visuals run as native animations (no video embeds, no external animation software). For the hero, we programmed a visual steam effect that gives the “always hot” idea a tangible feel without slowing the page down.

Result
The result is a concept site that still behaves like a real product marketing page: clear hierarchy, conversion-focused sections, and interactions that feel seamless and natural.
It shows that a small, focused collab can push Webflow past “good enough” marketing sites form a design and development perspective.
We shipped a page with native feature animations that hold up in Safari, a custom hero steam effect, and a maintainable Webflow setup built on MAST.
More importantly, the project became a shared learning ground, from accessible color systems to the unglamorous hours of font testing, without any stakeholder friction in the way.
